Sparkle

Hello! I haven't made a page in a while, so it was nice to dig into the December Studio Calico kit this weekend. I ended up getting the Penn Station and Murray Hill add-ons. Originally, I wanted to get just one, but I had a presentation the next day and I didn't want to spend more time trying to decide between the two.

I took the standard "out-of-focus Christmas tree lights" photo that everyone seems to take. For once, my lack of focusing skills weren't an issue! I loved the colors in the kits this month, so I used some of my favorites of the patterned papers. I didn't want to use up the whole yellow arrow sheet, so I cut out most of the inside of the paper and just left enough to work as a border on the outsides. Instead of the "cleaner" layers I've been sticking with lately, I felt like using messier layers to create more dimension and texture.

Thanks for taking a look!

    1. Thank you for stopping by and for the lovely comment! I think a video would consist of me staring and shuffling the paper for way too long ;)
