Then & Now

Hello! This is one of the pages I made for my Evalicious post that's up on the blog today. I was inspired by Davinie's idea of writing yourself a letter and opening it one year later. The photo is a shot my boyfriend took while experimenting with lighting. I used the little page tab that says "secret message" at the end the hidden journaling card to remind myself that it's there.



I didn't want to let the remaining scraps of my favorite patterned paper from the December Studio Calico kit go to waste, so I added them as strips in a vertical line. To add some texture, I added stitching across the strips, and left some of the threads long.



The "Then" and "Now" stamps were embossed with white Zing, and I love how it looks on the vellum.


I'm not naked, it's a strapless top!
