Thankful

This page is inspired by Wilna's art workshop. I just wanted to experiment and make something fun and colorful, and this was the end result! It feels a little messier than usual, but I had a lot of fun making it.

The photo is by my boyfriend, one of his first film shots. I feel like he always manages to make me look better than usual! The journaling is on the tag hidden behind the photo, and lists reasons why I am thankful. I went with a bit of a gold theme with the sequins, paperclip, and thickers.

I used molding paste and a silhouette die cut for the background. I love the subtle tone-on-tone texture it creates.

One of the chapters was "washi tape and glitter", which is where I got the inspiration for the strips of washi and the glitter thickers. At first, I wasn't a big fan of washi tape, but I'm starting to use it more and more. I like that it's an easy way to add pops of color.

A closer look at the texture of the molding paste.

Thanks for taking a look, I hope you have a lovely weekend!
