The Daily

I made a little collage of random photos I took this past month. Honestly, none of them were particularly "layout worthy" on their own, so I decided to put them all together to showcase little daily moments. The overall idea was inspired by the talented Jen Kinkade's Snippets layout.

The layers under the photo came together easily, but I didn't know what I wanted to do with the rest of the page. Both the SC main kit and add-on I got this month had ribbon, so I decided to try to use them for once. I ended up cutting them to make large banners at the top of the page.



I wanted to add different textures to my layers, so I used various elements such as vellum, die cuts, and patterned paper. On the background, I added some circular stitching and tried to use mist to add splashes of color. I also used some gold ink and stamped messily behind the layers.
